Metro has a brand new boardmember. Santa Clarita’s Patsy Ayala was ratified today at a meeting of a county committee that most people have never heard of. Ayala replaces Glendale Councilmember Ara Najarian who is retiring.

Here’s a recap of Metro board decisions last week – including open streets event funding, bike-share expansion, electric buses, and more.

Bus lane/stop enforcement cameras are coming to LADOT DASH buses. Never park blocking a bus lane or a bus stop – it could cost you $293.

A new L.A. River bike/walk path is coming to the West San Fernando Valley.
