    Call me crazy, but at this point, I think the best solution is to just to reroute the Purple Line to bypass Beverly Hills entirely. Just as I try to route my bike rides — and shopping — to avoid the bike-unfriendly city as much as possible.

    They can deal with the consequences when tourists and shoppers take their business elsewhere.
