Have you ever dreamed of growing food in your backyard? If so, don’t miss this chance to visit a thriving organic urban food garden in Los Angeles before the spring planting season by scheduling an Eco-Home Tour.

Visit Eco-Home this month on Sunday, February 7 or Sunday, February 21 from 2 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. For over twenty years, the Eco-Home has demonstrated the bounty and beauty a food garden can create even in a city that is dominated by asphalt and concrete. More than just a garden tour, the Eco-Home tour is also an experiential introduction to sustainable urban living. Participants will pick up ideas for home weatherization, water and energy conservation, solar energy and non-toxic cleaning products that will help them make their homes greener, healthier and more cost effective.

The tour is conducted by Eco-Home Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about lifestyle choices that protect the environment and improve quality of life. Eco-Home is located in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Call 323-662-5207 for reservation and directions. Requested donation for the tour is $10 per person. Please make your reservations by the Friday before the tour.
