Black Kids on Bikes Spread the Gospel of the Bike at the King Day Parade

Poll: Pick the Logo for “SoCal Streetsblog TV”
Anyone that's met Veronica Hernandez knows that our former intern doesn't do anything half-way. When we asked for her help to plan our social media expansion, she readily answered the call. Part of the project was designing logos for the SoCal Streetsblog TV and SoCal StreetsTube. In typical fashion, she gave us two logos: one uses the Live Stream colors and the other the Streetsblog colors. Yesterday morning, I picked the Live Stream color scheme one because, well, because it arrived in my inbox before the other one.

In fact, a friend of mine pointed this out while we were doing the cover photoshoot for the Long Beach Post's Person of the Year, the Bicyclist: "Wow, this crowd is overwhelmingly... white."
