Reminder: Streetsblog Live Discussion of Mayor’s Race on StreetsTube, TODAY at 1 pm

With the Mayoral primary behind us, and the field narrowed down to the longtime front runners Council Member Eric Garcetti and Controller Wendy Greuel, Streetsblog is moving its coverage of the candidates to a new level.

In the issue of transparency, and because it should be a fun and enlightening conversation, we're going to broadcast live on StreetsTube our discussion of what questions we should ask the candidates in a follow-up questionare and how Streetsblog should cover the race the rest of the way. Joining me will be:

    • Deborah Murphy, founder of Los Angeles Walks
    • Ted Rogers, writer of Biking in L.A. and LACBC Board Member
    • Kris Fortin, part of the film making team that filmed Garcetti and Greuel for our candidate video series

All three also have various affiliations with Streetsblog Los Angeles. None of our comments on the broadcast should be taken as endorsements from any organization. We're all speaking for ourselves.

There are several ways you can give us feedback and communicate during the chat. Tweet with hashtag #streetstube, email tips@la.streetsblog.org or just leave a comment below. The video will be archived on StreetsTube as soon as the broadcast is concluded.
