CD 11 Livable Streets Candidates Forum Tonight!

International Livable Streets rock stars Gehl Architects put together a beautiful vision for South Figueroa. What vision do the candidates vying to replace Bill Rosendahl have for the Westside and all of L.A.? Image: My Figueroa

Tonight, L.A. Streetsblog, Bikerowave, the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition and Los Angeles Walks, hosts the first   candidate forum for the four candidates running to replace the retiring Bill Rosendahl in the Westside’s Council District 11.

The Livable Streets Candidates Forum will be held tonight at Nolte Hall at 11555 National Boulevard at 7:00 p.m. There will be light refreshments afterwards. All four candidates, Mike Bonin, Odysseus Bostick, Tina Hess and Frederick Sutton have agreed to participate in the discussion that will be moderated by Will Wright, the Director of Government and Public Affairs for the American Institute of Architects, Los Angeles Chapter.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be plentiful bike parking available. The site is located next to the Big Blue Bus stop at National and Federal in L.A. For those that can't make it, we'll be Live Streaming at Streetsblog TV starting at 6:55 and will have video tomorrow and Thursday at StreetsTube. Feel free to RSVP at Facebook, although it is not required.
