To wrap up the annual Global Health Awareness Week, World Health Day LA is a community-wide health event that promotes healthy lifestyles through physical activity and good nutrition.

In anticipation of the upcoming 2012 London Olympics, the theme for the event is “Going for the Gold.” It will feature appearances by Olympic athletes, a wide variety of free health screenings, sports activities and entertainment—including the USC Marching band and USC Spirit Leaders—for the community to enjoy.

World Health Day LA is an annual health event brought to you by the University of Southern California; University of California, Los Angeles; and Western University of Health Sciences.
