For
over twenty years, the Eco-Home Network has been a staple of the local
environmental community; hosting small tours of its demonstration house
and helping members make their own homes cleaner and healthier places
to live.

With only five tours left until the Los Feliz demonstration house
closes its doors, now is the perfect time to visit the Eco-Home and
begin your own journey to an environmentally balanced life.

Join
us on Sunday, May 2, Sunday, May 16 or Sunday May 30 from 2:00 P.M. to
4:30 P.M. for an Eco-Home tour to gain the knowledge you need to turn
your home into an earth-friendly Eco-Home.

In addition to some practical tips for greening your home indoors,
you’ll see outdoor water conservation in our front yard xeriscape
mini-forest and ways to reduce food costs in our backyard organic
orchard and vegetable garden.

The
Eco-Home tour is an experiential introduction to sustainable urban
living. Participants will pick up ideas for home weatherization, water
and energy conservation, greater food security, solar energy and
non-toxic cleaning products that will help them make their homes
greener, healthier and more cost effective.

The
tour is conducted by Eco-Home Network, a non-profit organization
dedicated to educating the public on making lifestyle choices that
protect the environment and improve quality of life. Eco-Home is
located in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Call 323-662-5207
for reservation and directions. Requested donation for the tour is $10
per person. Please make your reservations by the Friday before the tour.
