All of the Official "Pit Stops" in Los Angeles County

As anyone that has paid even cursory attention to this blog knows, tomorrow is Bike to Work Day in Los Angeles County.  Throughout the County, organizations will run “pit stops” with refreshments, breakfast and give away items for people choosing to take their bikes tomorrow.  Anyone interested in biking tomorrow who hasn’t picked out a route yet can use the routing tool at bikemetro.net or check out Metro’s official bike route map.

Before you wheel your bike out of the driveway, make sure your route includes one of the pit stops and register with CALTRANS to make sure you qualify for one of their prizes.  So far, cyclists have pledged to bike over 110,000 miles during their commute tomorrow throughout California.

While I'll be out tomorrow doing my best to document the event, if you want your pit stop or experience documented online, send your photos or bike diaries to damien@streetsblog.org

“The ONT Connector is an inappropriate investment. Ridership capacity and public transportation utility do not support spending billions of dollars for it. Scrapping the project is the right decision. Electric rail to ONT is the appropriate decision,” per The Transit Coalition
