This Is Our Country

A quick thought from last night's primary in New Hampshire: How jarring is it to see reformer John Edwards take the stage to "This Is Our Country" a song that is synonymous with a truck commercial? I know that he's been on tour with Mellencamp (who's been a huge supporter of his campaign), but for me this was just a sharp reminder that all major candidates are punting on real transportation reform as an issue.
