Metro: Community Meetings on Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor
METRO TO HOLD SIX COMMUNITY MEETINGS TO UPDATE PUBLIC ON CRENSHAW/ LAX TRANSIT CORRIDOR
Public Invited to attend October/November 2010 Station Area Planning Workshops/ Project Update Meetings throughout Crenshaw, Inglewood & Westchester
What: The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will conduct six Station Area Planning Workshops/ Project Update Meetings open to the public on October 28, 2010 through November 18, 2010 to update the public on the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project.
Why: The meetings will focus on different segments of the corridor and will present specific information on each of the planned and optional stations along the proposed 8.5 mile north-south light rail alignment between the Exposition Line and the Metro Green Line. Metro will also provide a project update, discuss input received from past workshops, and present new information on station area planning, streetscape, and landscape design concepts.
