  • Tomorrow - Saturday 6/24 - The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority will host a Foothill Gold Line Track Completion Ceremony taking place at 9:30 a.m. at the D Street railroad crossing (north of Arrow Highway - next to University of La Verne) in the city of La Verne. During the event, the 230,630th rail clip will be driven into place, marking completion of major work on the new light rail tracks. The project is now 72 percent complete and expected to be completed in early January 2025. Details at SGV Connect.
  • Sunday 6/25 - L.A. Eco-Village and Bike Talk will host a panel discussion on The state of the Bicycle Movement in Los Angeles: Where It Came From, Where It's At, Where It's Headed. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the LA Eco-Village Community Hub at 3554 W. First Street in Koreatown. Panelists include Adonia Lugo, Eli Akira Kaufman, Josh Cohen and John Yi. Panel will be co-hosted by Nick Richert, Seamus Garrity, and Taylor Nichols.
