Another fine offering of pedagogical study from your friendly neighborhood bicycle co-op.  In May we are pleased to offer four classes.

Enzo, our in house mechanic trainer extraordinaire will be making his debut to the general public with his Intro to Bike Repair class.

Learn how to fix a flat and other basics with the man whose beard knows no bounds.

Mike, Bikerowaves most careful explainer and patient teacher will be back this month for an All Things Brake class.  His demonstrations will cover toe adjustment, centering, tightening and maybe even cable replacement.  He will also discuss those important little thingies called barrel adjusters.  Don't know what those are? Sounds like you need to attend!

Peter, Native American expert, fixed beach cruiser rider, and man of many strong opinions will teach all in a Fix Your Derailleur class.  We are really excited to have him teaching a class.  He has been riding and building bikes for years, is a one time contributor to the Rivendell Reader, and can tell you just about everything about any bike you have ever ridden.  This class will focus on repairs and will include an overview on replacing a derailleur and tuning it up from scratch.
All classes are on Sundays and start at 3pm sharp.  All are free.  Pleas RSVP to bikerowaveclasses@gmail.com if you would like to attend.  Put the class and date in the subject line to make things easy for us.

“The ONT Connector is an inappropriate investment. Ridership capacity and public transportation utility do not support spending billions of dollars for it. Scrapping the project is the right decision. Electric rail to ONT is the appropriate decision,” per The Transit Coalition
