The festival will be promoting ridesharing, bicycle commuting, and other ways to go green.

Santa Monica College Earth Day Festival

When: Thursday, April 21, 11:15 AM to 1 PM

Where: Santa Monica

Earth Day Festival & Teach-In, featuring eco-themed music and art, vegan food, and an eco-friendly digital photo booth. More info.

Wilshire Center Earth Day - Car-Free Day

When: Friday, April 22, 6:00 PM

The event will feature a movie screening of the director's cut of Avatar, face painting, e-waste recycling, fruit tree adoption, LAPD Youth Program Performance of the Color Guard, community organization booths, environmentally-friendly organization booths and more. More info.

EarthFest Concert in the Park for the Environment & Expo

When: Saturday, April 23, 10 AM - 6 PM

Where: Culver City
