Streetfilms Organizes Its L.A. Page

In addition to the L.B. Streetfilm that went up earlier today, Streetfilms has organized a page for Los Angeles Streetfilms and films related to the work that we’re doing.

There’s a couple of cheats in this Jeopardy Board layout, the Street Summit appearing twice is so that there’s a place holder for the Streetfilm made by Ivy London that is going to appear on Streetfilms next month and debuted at last week’s fundraiser.  So, if you’re new to Streetblog, or even a veteran that has seen many of these films once or twice already, you can now see almost all the films we shot in Los Angeles in one place.

Why do I say almost?  The YouTube clips from the Streetsblog shorties don’t appear.  So, if you want to see the video on Janette Sadik-Khan’s speech at the Street Summit, you’ll have to click here instead.

Streetfilms: (Portland) Bike Box!

|
<sigh> Another Streetfilm about how awesome Portland is.  It’s time to take a stand, Angelenos!  You Portlanders might have your complete streets, balanced transportation system, colored bike lanes and bike boxes; but I get to ride my bike on the sidewalk!  Whenever I want to!  So, there! </sigh> Like Brad Aaron before me, I must […]

Streetfilms Praises Orange Line BRT and Bike Path

|
While in town last month, Streetfilms took its second look at Los Angeles’ Orange Line as a model for BRT’s around the country.  In his summary of the above Streetfilm, Clarence Eckerson doesn’t hold back his praise for the Orange Line calling it "one of the best Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems in the U.S" […]
