Streetcar Workshop Planned for Tomorrow
The "Bringing Broadway Back" coalition and Councilman Jose Huizar is hosting another workshop on the value of bringing a streetcar to Broadway tomorrow from 10:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. at the New Los Angeles Theater Center, 514 South Spring Street. Bringing Broadway Back sees a the addition of trolley service to one of Los Angeles' most traversed pedestrian thruways.

The “Bringing Broadway Back” coalition and Councilman Jose Huizar is hosting another workshop on the value of bringing a streetcar to Broadway tomorrow from 10:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. at the New Los Angeles Theater Center, 514 South Spring Street. Bringing Broadway Back sees a the addition of trolley service to one of Los Angeles’ most traversed pedestrian thruways.
The “interactive” workshop will discuss how a streetcar will integrate with the streetscape, how it will connect to the planned Downtown Regional Connector, how to make the most of the pedestrian environment and ideas for a maintenance facility.
The event is free, open to the general public and includes a free lunch.
