2nd Annual Urban Bicycle Commuter Expo

Cyclists Inciting Change thru LIVE Exchange (CICLE), in partnership with the City of Pasadena, and the One Colorado, invites you to be an exhibitor at the 2nd Annual Urban Bicycle Commuter Expo happening during Bike Week Pasadena 2008, on Saturday, May 17, 2008 in Old Pasadena.

This day-long salute to the Urban Bicyclist is the crowning event of the greater Bike Week Pasadena 2008 celebration. Pasadena area bike shops, bike manufacturers, accessory manufacturers, and local advocacy groups will come together to present the latest bicycles, fashion, and gear emerging from the ultra-hot urban bike commuter scene. Last year’s Expo was bustling, and the Urban Bicycle Commuter Expo 2008 promises to be a greater success.

The Expo presents a unique opportunity to connect with both the existing and burgeoning cycling community at the high-profile One Colorado shopping district in historic Old Pasadena. One Colorado houses several retail giants and restaurants — and provides LOTS of foot traffic.

Exhibitor space is extremely limited, and is available on a first come first serve basis.

For more information about how your business or organization can get involved, visit the Bike Week Pasadena Web Pages, or contact Liz Elliott or Tonya Bray at C.I.C.L.E. Phone: 323-478-0060 Email: info@BikeNow.org

Next Week is Bike Week in LA County

Next week is Metro’s “Bike to Work Week” and Metro has planned a series of events designed to promote bicycling, including the popular Bike to Work Day.  At publication time, residents of LA County had pledged to commute a combined 110,000 miles on their bikes next Thursday.  Just to the east, our friends at C.I.C.L.E. […]

Bike Friendly Fridays: Pasadena

Cyclists head to the Bike Expo during Bike Week Pasadena last year. As we approach Bike to Work Day and the corresponding Bike Week Pasadena, let’s take a look at how our neighbor to the east views and treats its cycling community. When doing research for this week’s installment for Bike Friendly Fridays, I found […]

Critical Mass, Pasadena Style

A reader suggested that I write about the differences in the many different Critical Mass rides that happen around Los Angeles. It seemed like a good idea, and since I could double up on last weekend by doing the ride and visit the Commuter Bike Expo, this weekend I bring you the first in a […]
