Lightly Revised L.A. City Mobility Plan At Planning Commission Thursday
The Los Angeles Department of City Planning (DCP) recently released an updated version of its proposed Mobility Plan 2035, the transportation element of the city's General Plan. The Planning Commission is scheduled to vote on the proposed plan at its meeting this Thursday at 8:30 a.m. [agenda PDF - see item 7]. The revised plan documents are available online via the LA/2B project document page; they include a staff report [PDF], the Mobility Plan, Map Atlas, Complete Streets Guidelines, and Environmental Impact Report.

L.A.’s Draft Mobility Plan 2035: A Concrete Future Direction?
The city of Los Angeles Department of City Planning is kicking off a series of seven community planning forums starting tomorrow (Saturday, March 15th) and running through April 12th. They're at various locations from Granada Hills to San Pedro. The forums are for public feedback on three citywide planning processes: re:code L.A., Mobility Plan 2035, and Plan for a Healthy Los Angeles. Streetsblog is previewing the citywide initiatives; today it's the city's updated Transportation Plan, called Mobility Plan 2035. See also earlier coverage of the city's new Health Plan.

Help City Planners Prioritize Mobility Enhancements and Programs
Over the last few weeks, emails from staff at LA/2B (the effort to integrate Complete Streets principles and community input into the Mobility Element of the City’s General Plan) have been popping up in my inbox, encouraging me to participate in prioritizing the programs proposed for the Mobility Element's Action Plan in their online town hall.
