Metro Construction Committee Expected to Green Light Foothill Extension from Pomona to Montclair
This month, Metro's Board of Directors is expected to give the go-ahead to extend the A Line from Pomona to Montclair. The project is called the Foothill Gold Line Extension Phase 2B2, and will include 3.2 additional miles, with two new stations: Claremont and Montclair.

Zoom in tonight for a Foothill Gold Line Construction update. The Glendora to Pomona extension is currently about 30 percent completed. The line is anticipated to open to the public in 2025.

Glendora Installs Temporary Protected Bike Lane and Crosswalk Improvements
Currently, the city has just about wrapped up its planning efforts and is applying for funds to design and build the project through through the fifth cycle of the Active Transportation Program. The City has requested $4.2 million to build the Glendora Avenue improvements, and $3.1 million for the Foothill Boulevard improvements.
