The op ed on bus shelters is spot on. LA needs a plan to get shade, seating, a covered trash can and schedule info at EVERY bus stop. Anything less is an affront to the human dignity of bus riders. If we’re serious about getting people on transit, we need to create comfortable, clean and safe places to wait for the bus, PERIOD.
