Tour de Fat is a cycling festival that raises money for local nonprofits while spreading the good word about the bicycle, with entertainment throughout the day.  New Belgium has a passion for sustainability and hosts the event to encourage cycling, recycling and philanthropy.  The event includes a costumed bike parade and the Car-for-Bike trade program, where a volunteer in each city trades in his or her car for a bike. We're still looking for a swapper to represent L.A.! The money raised at the L.A. stop will benefit C.I.C.L.E., Bicycle Kitchen and Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition.  Last year the stop raised nearly $16,000, thanks to about 2,500 people who attended.
