Bikeways running the length of North Figueroa Street? So it is written in the LA Bike Plan, which passed through City Council just his past March.

What does a bikeway mean for those of us living and working along North Figueroa Street in the communities of Cypress Park, Mount Washington, Montecito Heights, Highland Park, Garvanza, and Eagle Rock?

Come down to the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop (located at 3714 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065) on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 7pm to 10pm (if it goes that late) to look at existing plans for the street, brainstorm ideas, come up with a task force or working group name, eat some food and talk about how to use this bikeway project to turn North Figueroa Street into the boulevard we deserve!

Join us this coming Friday, August 19, 2011 at 7pm at the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop (located at 3714 N. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90065). We are a block away from the Heritage Square Gold Line station and are next to the intersection of N. Figueroa and Marmion/Pasadena if you are taking the Metro 81 or 84 bus lines. Exit Avenue 43 off the 110 if you're driving. Parking available on street.

We will feed you! Vegan and Vegetarian-friendly food! No lie!
