MacArthur Park Bike / Skateboard Expo
This event is hosted by the MacArthur Park Community Center, Councilman
Ed Reyes and LAPD. There will be bike and skate board shops, bike
organization booths, mobile skateboard ramps and rails, live rock
bands, fixie competition and food. There will also be a raffle of new
bikes and skateboards, the money will be given to MacArthur Park to pay
for the year round youth programs. Also, there will be a volunteer
mechanic tent which will help kids in the area tune-up their bikes for
free, ANY VOLUNTEERS are welcome and needed!! Come by and enjoy the
event with the growing biking community in this area.
