CicLAvia Looking for Volunteers…Starting Tomorrow

Generally, when we add an advertiser to the side bar, we like to take a second to introduce them to the community.  I don't think we need to introduce CicLAvia, so we waited until there was some value to the CicLAvia team to give them their welcome announcement.

The CicLAvia team has begun to reach out and ask for volunteers to help make CicLAvia a repeat success in 2011.  But you don't have to wait until April 1oth to help out, they actually need a hand this week...starting tomorrow.  Be sure to bookmark this page, and check it regularly if you're interested in helping.  Here are the dates they have listed now for volunteer opportunities:

VOLUNTEER OUTREACH in advance of the April 10th 2011 CICLAVIA. RSVP via google form here.Volunteers needed:>Thursday March 3rd 2011, meet 6pm at Bicycle Kitchen, on Heliotrope at Melrose, East Hollywood> Friday March 4th 2011, meet 9:30am at JANM plaza, on First Street at Central Avenue, Little Tokyo> Saturday March 5th 2011, meet 10am at Shatto Park, on 4th Street just east of Vermont Avenue, Koreatown> Sunday March 6th 2011, meet 11am at Hollenbeck Park, corner of 4th Street and St. Louis, Boyle Heights> Sunday March 6th 2011, meet 3pm at Shatto Park, on 4th Street just east of Vermont Avenue, Koreatown> Tuesday March 8th 2011, meet 6pm at LaFayette Park, corner of 6th Street and LaFayette Park Place, Westlake
