Today Metro started issuing warning tickets to cars parked in downtown L.A. bus lanes. This expands the joint Metro-LADOT program that’s already issuing $293 tickets using on-bus cameras on Wilshire and La Brea. Other cities have found similar bus lane enforcement programs improved bus speed and reliability, and increased ridership.
$2000 e-bike vouchers mean “hundreds of households who have the option to load up their kids and groceries on a cargo bike… without sitting in traffic and burning gas.” Applicants must be at least 18 and live in the San Gabriel Valley.
