The Metro board met yesterday and sent a mixed message to transit riders. The agency is one step closer to a key heavy rail connection between Westwood and the Valley… but one step further from a light rail extension to Torrance.

Also yesterday, the Metro board approved some of the funding needed to extend the A Line to Claremont.
