This is a funny week for events, trapped between Passover, Easter, Cesar Chavez Day and April Fool's Day. That being said, there's some big stuff on the calendar, including a major series of debates on the candidates for the remaining City Council offices, Controller and City Attorney next Monday.

Short weeks sometimes get off to a slow start, but tonight's meeting on the Bike Plan environmental documents for the Westside promises to be a doozy. And don't forget a couple of big fundraisers on Saturday including Bike Prom and our Westside House Party.

City departments are starting to shake off the holiday rust and there's a lot of important meetings on the agenda. The city's progressive Bike Parking Ordinance finally gets a hearing at City Council, the controversial Wyvernwood complex holds a public hearing and the end might be in sight for the Ara Najarian re-nomination to the Metro Board of Directors.
