Transit Coalition Dinner Meeting -- Agenda -- Tuesday, May 25, 2010

We'll be meeting at 7pm Tuesday May 25th at Larchmont Bungalow.

This plan is an update to the County's adopted Plan of Bikeways (1975) and a sub-element to the General Plan.The plan seeks to encourage the use of bicycles as a general means of transportation, ensure the safety of bicycle users, and provide guidelines for the development, expansion, and implementation of the County's bicycle infrastructure.

On Saturday May 29th, 2010, goLAstreetcar is hosting an all-day event to capture your feelings and thoughts about a better Downtown – one where the streetcar is a catalyst for sustainable urban living.

Following the good times and good vibes of our fundraiser at the Eco-Village, Streetsblog will be rolling into Northeast Los Angeles for our second ever fundraiser sponsored by the Flying Pigeon L.A. and the Eastside Bike Club. The details are still being worked out, but I can tell you that we're going to have two parts to the June 18 fundraiser: a ride and an after-party. We'll meet the the Flying Pigeon Bike shop at 6:00 P.M. with kickstands up at 6:30. The ride and after party will be $10 each or $15 for both. As always, donations are on a sliding scale.
