Los Angeles Holds International Bike Polo Tournament, June 1st & 2nd
This weekend, June 1st and 2nd, Los Angeles Bike Polo is hosting an International Tournament: Bench Minor IV. When I heard about this, I snagged a chance to meet fellow LA bike polo player and Organizer of the event, Alex Dash, aka JOKER as he is known in the Poloverse!

King of CicLAvia: Richie Trimble’s 14.5 ft. Tall Bike!
In addition to the 150,000 cyclists that took to Venice Blvd. on Sunday, at CicLAvia VI: CicLAvia To the Sea, the "King of CicLAvia" was crowned. The crown was not awarded by the event-creators, but by the buzz surrounding Richie Trimble's over a hundred pound, 14.5 foot - to the seat, 17 foot - to eye level, tall bike: "STOOPID TALL" aka "Big Boy" as it made its way from La Cienega to Venice beach.

Finally…. Hit & Run Cycling Victim, Paul Livingston is on the Road to Justice
On June 12, 2011 Paul Livingston, an avid cyclist in the Los Angeles area, rode from Hollywood to the beach as he often did four or five times a week. On his way home, at approximately 6 pm he rode his bicycle through Beverly Hills. Just before City Hall on Santa Monica Boulevard., he was hit from behind by a car.

Victim of Hit and Run, Where Louis Deliz is 3 Years Later
In late 2009, Louis Deliz became the victim of the ever growing hit and run epidemic in Los Angeles. Louis spent eleven days in the I.C.U. and was kept alive by machines as he was out in a chemically induced coma for approximately 8 days, living at the hospital for a total of 49 days.
