Tomorrow is election day in L.A. Half of Los Angeles has a City Council election to vote in. All of us have school board elections. Vote! With low turnout expected, a small group of dedicated voters can make a difference.

Dry River Walk: Arroyo Seco Bikeway and Debs Park
The Dry River walk, led by walk ambassador Jack Moreau, will exhibit the Arroyo Seco Bikeway and Eugene Debs Park as community assets for Los Angeles and discuss the issues behind connecting the areas with bicycle and pedestrian transportation.

All the Stairs in Echo Park
Think of this as a mini version of Stair Trek, concentrated on L.A.'s most stairway-rich neighborhood: over 50 stairways on a 10-12 mile route. We keep to our traditional 3:1 ratio of stairs climbed to descended. Though it is physically challenging, the compact geographic range of this walk will make it easy for folks to leave/join throughout the day.

Alex Baum Memorial
Alex Baum passed away this weekend. Baum was a giant in the promotion of cycling as a sport and a lifestyle in Los Angeles, the US, and internationally. CicLAvia: The Valley
CicLAvia will make the San Fernando Valley its home on March 22 when Metro Presents CicLAvia – The Valley takes place from 9am–4pm. The first CicLAvia of 2015 represents the inaugural visit of LA’s renowned open streets event to the Valley. Participants will be able to travel between North Hollywood and Studio City on car-free streets, using foot, pedal and non-motorized wheel power.
