9:27 PM PDT on September 29, 2013

Run, walk and have fun in the inaugural Loco Motion 10K!

Race through Downtown Los Angeles, and end with a finish line festival for the whole family. An event to raise awareness about alternative transportation and to advocate for safer and more accessible means of travel throughout the city, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition.

The Loco Motion 10K was launched in the memory of Marisela Echeverria, who was killed while riding her bicycle on Pacific Coast Highway in October 2012.

Register (http://www.locomotion10k.com/race-details/register/) to run/walk or get involved as a volunteer.

Proceeds benefit the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition.
