The Valley Bikery is moving into their new space at 14416 Victory Boulevard; that's Victory at Van Nuys Boulevard. The Bikery has their grand opening party coming up on Saturday January 29th.

Will City Look, or Just Leap at Plan to Lease Lots?
Later today, behind closed doors, the Los Angeles City Council will meet to debate and discuss whether to put out to bid a plan to lease all of the city controlled parking lots throughout the city for fifty years. The debate over whether the city should proceed has been almost completely centered around whether or not the cost to residents and businesses of increasing parking costs will be worth the fiduciary benefit to city coffers.

London’s Cycle Superhighways Boost Cycling 70 Percent
Figures are starting to come in from London's investment in "cycle superhighways," and the data make a strong argument for more robust dedicated bike infrastructure. A Transport for London study found that the city's beefed-up bikeways have increased cycling by 70 percent along routes where they were installed, reports Network blog Cyclicio.us.
