State of the State: Here Come Public-Private Partnerships
During his "State of the State" speech yesterday, Governor Schwarzenegger didn't spend too much time on transportation (and none on transportation reform). But what time he did spend shows how he's planning on meeting our funding needs: public private partnerships.

This Is Our Country
A quick thought from last night's primary in New Hampshire: How jarring is it to see reformer John Edwards take the stage to "This Is Our Country" a song that is synonymous with a truck commercial? I know that he's been on tour with Mellencamp (who's been a huge supporter of his campaign), but for me this was just a sharp reminder that all major candidates are punting on real transportation reform as an issue.
