That’s All for Today, See You Tonight!
There's still some loose ends to tie up for tonight's End of the Year Party, starting at 6:30 at Earl's Gourmet Grub, 12226 Venice Boulevard between Grand View Boulevard and Ocean View Avenue, so unless there is major breaking news, L.A. Streetsblog won't have new stories until tomorrow.

Join Us on Thursday to Remember the Best of 2011
Don't forget, this Thursday is our first ever End of the Year Party, celebrating the year that was and looking forward to the year that will be. As we announced yesterday, due to a last-minute change, we'll be holding the event at a new location, not the church where we held our re-launch party in 2010.

Last weekend, Joel Epstein and Karen Sarachik hosted a fundraiser to benefit L.A. Streetsblog. Nearly twenty people, representing organizations including Bikerowave, Bikeside, Friends for Expo Transit, the Sierra Club and the Southern California Transit Advocates, were in attendance joining writers for The Source, Huffington Post and California Planning and Development Report. A great evening with friends and supporters and we raised well over $1,000 to support Streetsblog's operations.
