OC to LA Dream Ride
Dream Act Riders, Dream Team Los Angeles, Orange County Dream Team, El Centro Cultural de Mexico, Solidarity Ink and City of Lights are proud to announce that we are officially opening registration for the OC to LA Dream Ride 2012. This years ride will be on Sunday March 4th and will be starting in Orange County from El Centro Cultural de Mexico in Santa Ana with a ride kick off celebration and ending at Solidarity Ink in Lincoln Heights with a welcoming celebration. The ride will be in celebration of the passage of the California Dream Act, but also connecting the immigrant rights movement with the biking community.

LA2B Townhalls: Get Involved with the City’s Mobility Element
The Department of City Planning and the Department of Transportation have been soliciting input for the much anticipated upcoming revision to the Transportation Element (now called the Mobility Element) of the city’s General Plan. There has already been a great conversation online (which we encourage you to participate in here) with Angelenos contributing great ideas including more pedestrian/cycling events, streets not just for cars, and creating separated bicycle lanes.

Sunday Funday
This month, we're going to join forces with some of our local bike clubs to ride to the Watts Towers! Organized by LACBC and LA Wheelmen member David Nakai, this ride will actually have three different rides for various abilities. You will be able to choose from a medium and moderately flay 37-mile ride, the LA Wheelmen's 49-mile hilly challenge ride through the Baldwin Hills, and a 10-mile ride from Jesse Owens Park to the Towers and back
