Montebello to Transfer Low Carbon Operations Funds to Foothill Transit
Montebello Bus Lines is sending $240,000 of its 2018-19 LCTOP funds to Foothill Transit, since the funds were not spent within the required timeframe. The transfer makes MBL eligible to receive future LCTOP funds.

Foothill Transit to cut fares for passes in half for three months starting July 2021
The discount will lower the prices of day passes to $3 and 31-day passes for local travel, the Silver Streak, Express to $30, $55 and $90 respectively.

Irwindale Active Transportation Plan Envisions a Safer, More Bike- and Pedestrian-Friendly Future
The city currently has two bike facilities. The new plan proposes adding 39 bicycle projects and 71 pedestrian improvements over the next 10-20 years. The city council is expected to approve the plan this month.
