Spend the Sunday of Your Holiday Weekend at the Bicycle Commuter Festival
It's been nearly four years since the "Streets Summit" called together many of the city and county's leading bicycling advocates to discuss advocacy, safety, and how the Livable Streets Community can move forward. Bicycle Commuter Festival
Los Angeles, January 30, 2014 - Riding bikes is fun! AIDS/Lifecycle and the Bicycle Culture Institute bring together everyone you need to learn about rides, local groups, advocacy, staying safe and getting inspired. The festival is focused on connecting the most innovative and friendly cycling folks and teaching new bicyclists (or helping sport/recreational riders) learn the basics of riding for transportation.

What should have been a major moment for the MyFigueroa! project, the city's most important bicycle and pedestrian project on the books. turned into an almost baffling show of city government at its worst.
