Breaking: Southwest Cities Vote to Replace Pam O’Connor with Inglewood’s James Butts on Metro Board
Earlier this morning, the "Southwest Corridor" cities voted for a new official to represent them on the Metro Board of Directors, replacing Santa Monica Councilwoman Pam O'Connor with Inglewood Mayor James Butts. The vote needs to be ratified by the City Selection Committee when it meets in January.

Ad Hoc Committee to Improve Hollywood/Hillhurst/Sunset/Virgil Intersection
Our next meeting, on Tuesday, December 9, at 7:30pm, will feature two guest speakers: Madeline Brozen, of the UCLA Luskin School's Complete Streets Initiative; and Ryan Snyder, of the transportation firm Ryan Snyder and Associates. We will be hearing from both Madeline and Ryan to learn more about the kinds of recommendations we could put together to improve this intersection. The meeting will take place at Citibank, located at 1965 Hillhurst Ave.
