What Should Be Done with the Crenshaw Corridor
I'm going to be honest with you for a moment. I haven't been paying attention to the Crenshaw Corridor Transit Study in South L.A. Maybe it's that a preferred mode hasn't been selected yet. Maybe it's that more controversial projects have grabbed my attention. Maybe it's that it's mysterious. Regardless all of that is going to change soon.

began operating in Arlington County, Virginia, the future of Arlington
and other old, inner suburbs was far from certain. Across the Potomac,
the District of Columbia was suffering from depopulation, rapidly
rising crime rates, and serious fiscal difficulties.

CD 2 Questionnaire: Tamar Galatzan Responds
Unlike the first two Council District 2 candidates who have responded to our questionnaire, Tamar Galatzan currently holds elected office. Galatzan was elected to the LAUSD school board, unseating incumbent Jon Lauritzen with a boost from Mayor Villaraigosa, in the 2007 elections.
