Spoke(n) Art
The Spoke(n) Art bicycle ride is a free, once-a-month, bicycle tour of art galleries in North East Los Angeles. The ride takes place on the second Saturday of each month - a special night in North East Los Angeles. Area art galleries open their doors late into the night as part of NELAart's "Gallery Night".

Public Hearing: Draft EIR for Canoga Transportation Corridor Project
The Canoga Transportation Corridor Project is a proposed four-mile extension of Metro Orange Line service from the Canoga Park & Ride Lot to the Chatsworth Metrolink Station. Metro seeks to improve north-south mobility in the Western part of the Valley by connecting activity centers along the corridor, as well as linking Metro service with Metrolink.

Farmlab Public Salon: 3-D, Participatory City Building Workshop
James Rojas, Simon Pashuca & Georgia Sheridan will be leading the city building workshop. Using a medley of recycled materials, participants will be introduced to an innovated way to understand urban design and planning process. Participants will run through an exercise that uses 3-dimentional forms to discuss land use and urban design and planning. Urban design and planning is a multidisciplinary process involving everyone. The model building exercise allows participants to think of their planning goals in physical terms. It also shows participants how difficult it is to build the "ideal city" even when given a clean slate.
