Metro and the Federal Transit Administration signed a Full Funding Grant Agreement for the 6.7-mile East San Fernando Valley light rail to run down the middle of Van Nuys Boulevard. Construction is expected to get underway this year, and if all goes well, plan to ride the new line in 2031!
