A million daily Metro riders can’t be wrong! Metro ridership grew steadily for the past 23 months, nearly erasing losses during the outset of the pandemic. The latest ridership figures, from October, show a second consecutive month with more than a million daily boardings. Weekday, weekend, bus, BRT, and light rail ridership are all up. Heavy rail subway ridership remains very high, but hasn’t recovered as much as other modes.

If you’re around North Hollywood today, check out the revamped NoHo People St plaza a two blocks south of NoHo Station. Celebrate the plaza’s grand re-opening today from 5-8 p.m. It seems like just yesterday when that plaza opened, but it was 2015.
