    The mention of “Walk Alhambra” reminded me of when I lived there. My abode was an apartment within walking distance of work (at the Edison facility), food (at the Super A market), the Post Office, and the Alhambra Camera store. One of the ironies of this phase in my life was that there were some weeks when I only fired up my car to go over to LA for a weekly meeting of electric railway enthusiasts on Wednesdays.
