    Even though the Pasadena CicLAvia and the Long Beach Beach Street ride will be about the same distance there’s no way you can compare the two. Pasadena chose the heart of Pasadena in Colorado Blvd, Long Beach on the other hand chose the complete opposite.

    Well, LB applied for Metro funding for both a core-downtown Ciclovia and the uptown route. Metro decided to fund one event per jurisdiction, and only funded the uptown route.
