Thursday – We’ll be broadcasting our second Live Stream, bright and early at 9:00 A.M. Our second Live Stream will be the press conference announcing the opening of a pair of parklets on Spring Street in Downtown Los Angeles. In addition to some pretty shots of the park, we’ll also have footage of Antonio Villaraigosa and Jose Huizar and other dignitaries. Visit the event webpage on Streetsblog TV for the Live Stream information.
Sunday – Immediately following our second ever Live Stream is our Third ever Live Stream. The three candidates vying to replace Ed Reyes in the first City Council District will be debating live at Occidental College. If you’ve already made plans to be in Arizona for the Dodgers first weekend of Spring training, good news! We’ll be Live Streaming this forum also. Good times. Get information on the LACBC’s Ride Figueroa event leading to the forum and how to go to the forum itself here . Or, visit the event page on Streetsblog TV for the Live Stream information.

We do suggest a donation of $100 an attendee, but we never refuse admission to anyone who wants to party with us. For more information, click here . RSVP to me at email@example.com
February 27 – It’s Streetsblog Los Angeles’ 5th Birthday! Happy birthday to us! We’ll hold a happy hour somewhere. Looking for suggestions….
April 27 – Since we just held a fundraiser at Eco-Village, this year our 4th Annual Streetsie Awards Fundraiser will be at the home of Deborah Murphy, another one of our Board Members and the super-pedestrian advocate of Los Angeles. We’ve already gotten RSVP’s from two of our People of the Year, Glendale City Councilman Ara Najarian and former DTLA Neighborhood Council Livablilty Champion Valerie Watson. We’re putting together the host committee and more details are coming. But save the date now.
