What is the role of transit and mobility in revitalization?
Can a historical icon build a vibrant economy in the downtown community?
What does this mean for downtown property owners?
Los Angeles is known for its “sprawling suburbia,” yet the revitalization of downtown has presented Angelenos with the opportunity for a true urban center. Shiraz Tangri, Legal Counsel, Los Angeles Streetcar, Inc. will speak at Town Hall about how a streetcar can help create a better connected, more vibrant downtown. The Downtown LA Streetcar is planned as a modern, fixed-rail streetcar system that will primarily run on Broadway, 11th, Figueroa, 7th, and Hill Streets. This November, downtown residents will vote on whether to approve a community facilities district that will tax property owners to fund the LA Streetcar project.
Come talk about how to make Los Angeles the city you want to live in.
