		<description>That&#039;s nice talk about building communities where people can live car free. I wish the ARRA (&quot;stimulus package&quot;) better reflected those priorities. The only criterion at the time seemed to be &quot;shovel ready&quot;, which in many instances meant building or expanding freeways, not just repairing deteriorated roads.

I&#039;m glad LaHood is at least willing to talk the talk of sustainable urban design. But talk is cheap. Meaningful action is expensive, and politically challenging.</description>
