You do know that Roski is one of the movers behind the call for a convention designed to ignite a "reform" of the California State Constitution, right? Please tell me you know that.

Government by the developers, for the developers. And I suspect that when it is marketed, many here will fall in line.

Certainly part of this is the silliness of the city of Walnut. Whom have engaged in bad faith negotiations. A city that cites how the stadium would waste water, but when it offers a migitation package to Industry it includes Industry building Walnut an aquatics center.

CEQA: What a joke. Hasn't helped anything in California. It just opens the door to frivolous lawsuits. What a state...

This situation is indicative of the sort of insider clout that has excess influence on the functioning of state government. While the legislature stumbles in dealing with its budget mess and the long-simmering water crisis it has time for billionaires pushing sports stadiums? Beyond surreal!
