The claim that “dogs prefer subways” is not supported by the story, which makes no mention of other modes of transportation and dogs’ opinions thereof.

A VALID conclusion to draw from this is that “even dogs know how to follow traffic lights and therefore know how not to get hit by at-grade vehicles…”

I bet it helps that Moscow Metro runs trains on 90 second headways. Sometimes even more frequent than that!
