Something about stealing a cops wheel just don’t sound like a good idea, even if you are low enough to steal bike parts in the first place!

This replaces meters removed for the parking project? Does anyone know how many were removed? Is it a net gain or has our chocolate ration been increased to 25 grams per week?

Genius! This actually looks like a really good idea and a well-executed one as well. Kudos go to those responsible for it.

I’m saying all this prior to reading the inevitable report about profligate waste associated with this project, but until then – bravo!

I do hope that person didn’t actually leave that bike locked up alone like that. I assume its posed for the photo. Cause in my neighborhood, the bike computer, trunk bag, pump, bottles and wheels would all be gone. And if the cable lock is the only lock used, The whole bike would be gone. too.

I like that the bike has a ladot patch on it, great to see that bike parking might still live on.

Okay, What if they used that valuable real estate at the top of the pole to promote safe and secure bike locking techniques. The cyclist who locked the bike in the picture is going to lose some wheels! Just a thought.
